Normally, the personal data collected by Genialimpulso, Lda is limited to the name, address, telephone number or email, but other data necessary to supply products or services.
Data inherent to the provision of services, such as traffic and location data, are also generated. These data are processed automatically, in compliance with the applicable legislation and the conditions defined by the National Data Protection Commission (“CNPD”).
When is personal data collected and generated?
In general, personal data are requested when the Customer subscribes to one of our products or services.
Genialimpulso, Lda respects your right to privacy and does not collect any personal information about you without your prior consent.
Some of the personal data must be provided for the provision of the service. Genialimpulso, Lda will inform of this obligation and in the event of lack or incorrect supply of the required data, Genialimpulso, Lda will not be able to provide the contracted service. The provision of incorrect or inaccurate data is your sole responsibility.
What is the purpose of collecting personal data?
As a general rule, the personal data collected from the Clients are intended for the provision and billing of the Services, for the management and evaluation of the contractual relationship with the Client, for the adaptation of the services to the needs and interests of the Customer, to the payment of interconnection services, to information, marketing or telemarketing actions of Genialimpulso, Lda, associated companies or in a domain or group relationship with Genialimpulso, Lda and third parties, as well as the inclusion of the Customer on subscriber lists.
Your personal data will also be processed to answer your questions, suggestions or complaints.
In the event that the Customer does not comply with the obligation to pay for the Service, Genialimpulso, Lda may enter the Customer's personal data in the database created pursuant to article 46 of the Law nº 5/2004, of 10 February, unless the Customer has invoked an exception for non-compliance or has complained or challenged the billing presented. The Customer will be notified of the inclusion of their data in this database, within 5 days.

Subcontractors, Communication and Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data may also be made available to the courts and other competent authorities, in strict compliance with the provisions of the law, namely when deemed necessary for the resolution of disputes relating to the billing and for activities related to the protection of public safety, defense and security of the State and the prevention, investigation or detection of criminal offenses.
Genialimpulso, Lda may also use subcontractors for all or part of the purposes identified above, as well as for the maintenance, accommodation and management of its computer systems and equipment, under the terms allowed by leg.
